- The Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) Cell of Thirumalai Engineering College is established to promote and integrate India’s rich traditional knowledge with modern education. The cell aims to create awareness about ancient Indian wisdom in science, technology, health, culture, philosophy, and sustainability.
- The IKS Cell encourages students and faculty to explore India’s contributions in areas such as mathematics, astronomy, medicine (Ayurveda), yoga, architecture (Vastu Shastra), environmental science, ethics, and heritage studies.
- Through workshops, seminars, guest lectures, cultural programs, research activities, and heritage awareness programs, the cell helps students understand the relevance of Indian Knowledge Systems in contemporary society.
