The Industry–Institute Interaction Cell (IIIC) of Thirumalai Engineering College (TEC) serves as
a vital platform to strengthen collaboration between the institution and industry. The cell aims to
bridge the gap between academic learning and industrial requirements by promoting practical
exposure, skill development, and industry-oriented training for students
The IIIC facilitates interactions with leading industries through industrial visits, guest lectures,
internships, in-plant training, workshops, seminars, and collaborative projects. These activities
help students gain real-world experience, understand current industrial practices, and enhance
their employability skills
The cell also encourages faculty–industry collaboration for research, consultancy, curriculum
enrichment, and technology transfer, ensuring that academic programs remain aligned with
evolving industry standards and market needs.
