- The Youth Red Cross (YRC) unit of Thirumalai Engineering College (TEC) is a voluntary humanitarian organization dedicated to promoting social service, health awareness, and community welfare among students. The YRC functions with the objective of inculcating the values of humanitarian service, leadership, discipline, and social responsibility
- The unit actively organizes programs such as blood donation camps, health awareness drives, first-aid training, disaster management programs, environmental campaigns, road safety awareness, and community outreach activities. These initiatives help students develop compassion, teamwork, and a sense of civic duty.
- The Youth Red Cross also focuses on promoting health, hygiene, peace, and national integration, encouraging students to serve society selflessly and contribute positively to the well-being of the community.
- Through its continuous service activities, the Youth Red Cross unit of Thirumalai Engineering College plays a significant role in shaping socially responsible and service-oriented citizens.
